Girls on the Hill

As part of the Center for Women & Democracy’s annual Women at the Capitol event, the Women’s Commission is hosting Girls on the Hill!

This is a day of packed civic engagement and leadership programming for nearly 150 middle and high school girls from across Washington State.

On the Capitol Campus, these young leaders will:

• Hear directly from Washington State Legislators
• Participate in a hands-on mock lobbying activity
• Explore pathways to civic leadership and public service
• Connect with peers from across the state

This event is in partnership with the Girl Scouts of Western Washington, Rep. Jamila Taylor, Tri-Cities Diversity & Inclusion Council and Strong Women Achieving Greatness (SWAG). It would not be possible without our sponsors Uber and Symetra.
