The Untold Stories of Black Women in the Suffrage Movement

The Washington State Women’s Commission is commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote. The Women’s Commission hired KD Hall Communications to create a video about the centennial of women’s suffrage and the role of black women in the suffrage movement. We encourage organizations to use the film for educational purposes and to spark discussion about the importance of voting.
