Women’s History Month is an opportunity to honor the legacy of women who have made a lasting impact, in Washington State and across the country. Our state has a proud heritage of brilliant, trailblazing, and courageous women, and we at the Washington State Women's Commission are proud to carry on the tradition and keeping pushing for progress.

To commemorate International Women's Day, Governor Inslee has issued a proclamation declaring Marcy 8th, 2021 as Women's Day.
