Join the Women’s Washington State Women’s Commission as we host Carmen Best, author of ‘Black in Blue: Lessons on Leadership, Breaking Barriers, and Racial Reconciliation’ in a fireside chat with Commission Chair Michelle Merriweather.

The event will feature a conversation about Carmen’s leadership journey, her experience navigating traditionally White male-dominated spaces in the police force, and her insights for young women leaders who want to create change.
